The thought of chopping, preparing, cooking the foods we know serve our health ten-fold has been replaced by take away meals and sugary snacks.Family woman, Laura Harbinson has sharpened her knives and is prepared to make change with her new business, Halo Healthy Kitchen who plan, prepare and deliver calorie conscious meals to homes and businesses across Greater Belfast. Each tasty meal is prepared fresh, using locally sourced ingredients and come stamped with individual labels outlining its compilation of carbohydrates, fats and protein.Laura has always been passionate about cooking, often the go-to girl for preparing food for social events and making time to experiment with healthier versions of family favourites. After Laura’s maternity she made the courageous decision to leave her previous role as a successful sales manager, to fulfil her dream of self-employment that could fit around her family life. In January 2018, Halo Healthy Kitchen began trading with Laura managing everything from customer orders, social media, cooking and delivering. Fast forward, 12 months and Halo employs 4 full time staff members, responsible for almost 2000 meals per week.” The good news just keeps coming here ay gofyt.
